Bir Hakeim, June 1942: will Free French Brigade hold its position?.

The Free French Brigade was in position at Bir Hakeim, the southern position of Gazala line. During Rommel's offensive in June 1942, the French Brigade resists the first assault by Italian troops. Then the elit German Afrika Korps units attack the position, which is holding the whole Rommel's strategy. The "Deux Mamelles" are small elevations over former Roman water reserves, which are heavily attacked by the 90th Ligth Division, reinforced by the 33th Pioneer Company. French Marines, Legionnaires and African soldiers hold the position up to the end. The worst assault is Huber's Kampfgrupp one: French forces are really close to being submerged. Will they hold it ?

It looks like French positions are a bit too strong. A proposition is to multiply by two the German bombing capacity. What do you think of it ? Any feedback is welcome.

Note : for French HQ, use Lenorman's counter from Vae Victis 39, or Dutertre's counter from Vae Victis 58.
